First, since I live in Virginia and I am out touristing with my kids frequently I will keep my eyes peeled. I will also pray for this young child. I think it is quite distressful that our children are being treated with such distain in this country.

I would also like to say that I think this has less to do with the color of skin or whether some child with blonde has a predicated right to press time and more to do with the local. Unfortunately there are a lot of child endangerment situations that occur in the east that have desentized us to them no matter how sad they are. To have a man break in to a house a grab a child out of bed in Utah is very unusual. However to not have a Amber Alert go out and the press cover especially in the extenuating circumstances of this little boy is cause for great concern and should be looked at to see why exactly it fell through the cracks.

I hope one of my good friends is not dead and will be found. We are in a couple of classes together and I didnt expect for this to happen all over falling cree middle school we miss marquis and if he is dead we would like to say rest in peace MJ.

I really feel the system and the community have failed this child! I do not think it is race I do feel it has to do with the type of circumstances involved. I think it is a damn shame that this child has died because there were not more announcements for community directed searches and postings. I think it is a shame that I personally have not heard one thing on this story for about a month and then there is a sudden tip? I have been on the crimestoppers website and the news websites and I watch the news. My heart goes out to this family. I can not imagine the pain they must feel, and the friends of Marquis must feel real scared and sad as well.

If he was said to be in so much danger and I feel more so then "other" Amber Alerts, why wasn't there more done by Richmond as a whole?

I really feel that there was not enough done to find this precious child. I feel for Marquis's family, because this is the second child in their family to die for no reason. Ciara jobes was the other child that was killed. It is a terrible thing for people to take innocent kids and do things to them for no apparent reason at all. I will pray for his family and that they get closure in their life.

i would like to say that my prayers goes out for marquis jobes...and he's family also i did get the chance to meet mr anthoney rankine before he missing and murder.with is little jobes step father he spoke so hiley of marquis ....i've never seen him or spoke to him but know that he was an angel from god ............i pray that who ever did this to this family will pay........and may natasha,anthoney,and marquis rest in peace....god bless them all

You is right about them only caring about them other kids. They would have been all out there looking for them kids. They would keep looking for them until they find them. But he is in a better place now. So it is okay. Marquis and Ciara. RIP love you.
