Just had to share this

Taking a bit of a break from the book to try and find something to make me laugh, and I sure succeded:

If you get rid of the receeding hairline, add about 2 feet to the length of the hair and dress him all in black, that would be a perfect image of my husband while shopping. Seriously.

Of course, the good news is now that he's got a cell phone, he can call me from the store if he forgets what he's supposed to get or not sure what exactly I meant when I said what I needed, so he doesn't have to go back so often, but still....

[What's worse? Even if I give him a written list, he doesn't always remember to actually LOOK at it.... ::sigh:: Guys? Care to explain yourselves? ::giggle::]

List? List!!? We don't need no stinkin' lists...

Hey if it is less than 5 or 6 things I'm cool, I can usually remember what I am told when and if you have my full attention when you tell me. If you give me a list when I am not focused on list taking then it is lible to not stick so well. If I don't stop what I am doing to let you know I got it then I am most likely on automatic pilot in responding to you. Not saying I can't or don't multitask it is just some times we focus to the exclusion of all else and then pretend we heard or understand what you just told us. We don't even realize what we are doing because well we are focused on something else at that moment.

Besides if you want something that darned bad then go get it yourself. Geeze I mean so we forget from time to time, it's tough being a guy today haven't you noticed? <smile>

Oh, believe me! If I could do the shopping myself, I would... it would just be SO much easier! :) I do really appreciate how much he does for me, though - I just have to tease him every now and then about the little things :)

How can I explain it? It's a Y-chromosome thing. Since you have two X chromosomes I don't know if you can understand.

You know what my problem is? I make a list for the store...and then forget it at home. I'm silly.

I do all the groceries - after all they're all for me. No problems here.
