Slow Blogging
Just to let you know, I am ok - I just needed to get my head out of the news for a bit - sometimes it just gets a bit overwhelming. I'll be writing again soon :)

Whew!! thanks! glad to know you're okay!
It's a challenging part of blog friendships, one never knows whether it's just writer's block, illness, scheduling conflicts. Please, please, please, don't do a "Raven" on me now, I'd be absolutely beside myself!!!

Oh, no fear of that! Blogging is one of the few things I can do that lets me feel like I still have the ability to make a difference, even if I am stuck in the house all the time. It would take a lot to make me give it up. I just go through short phases where I have to focus on other stuff, or I get too angry about what's going on in the world - beyond the point where it actually is useful for motivation. When I do that, I can start giving myself headaches and such, and that tells me I just need to back down and cool off for a couple days. I'll be fine and I'll be back in full force soon!

Rayne reminded me that you hadn't posted yesterday. It's good to know you only had a little news "headache". I seem to get those with much frequency these days as well.
